However it may have originated this is definitely a C tree!
This Beech is a fusion of stems and although appearing as a good solid bole is actually a bundle planting.
It should therefore be recorded as a C tree!
Believe it or not this is a Hazel!
Close inspection shows the short trunk is made up of several stems.
The Hafod Beech is part of a designed landscape and one of several deliberate bundle plantings.
